So the Xbox Scorpio is soon to be here. It's a power house. BUT Microsoft forgot one major factor when showing off the power of Scorpio.................games, exclusive console selling games. Whats more is where the Xbox one fits into all this? Sony must have been looking on waiting for some massive exclusives to back up this power showing but what they are chatting about is how good the sub full HD games will now look on Scorpio, games that gamers have finished and forgotten. Sure new games are on the way but unless you own a 4K TV why bother when your Xone will do the job. Price is going to be high, $499 is talked about and Sony WILL drop the price of PRO and could even bring out a slimmer version of the 4K console. Horizon on PS4 Pro is stellar, stunning to look at, fast frame rates and more importantly.........exclusive to Sony. Sony has some huge exclusives over the next year where as Microsoft has 3 or 4 that when all said and done are hardly going to help the sales of...

We backed a Playstation 4 version of Battalion 1944 and we're pleased to see footage of game play is looking very Call of Duty 1&2. Just what we wanted then. The aim of the development team is to bring fast paced WW2 action to PC and Console. Looking good so far and it still very early pre-alpha play. More when we get it and look forward to some PS4 footage.

Now take this with a pinch of salt........but if true, this is one hell of a line up of games. A rumour of a slim beefed up PS4 PRO (4K drive more ram etc etc) Scorpio killer is also doing the rounds. Gotta love E3 build up and the internet. A new game from Sucker Punch had better be true. Resistance 4, yes. We now know that Call of Duty is not going to be called by the frankly laughable name "Chemical warfare". Thanks Eurogamer.

A leaked image is doing the rounds on the internet and it's the best news ever, for me anyway. The next Call Of Duty is going back to what it does best.....WW2. COD was the first PC game I bought. I loved it. In fact I bought a 360 to play the second. Sledgehammer Games are at the helm so no pressure then. This is all still unconfirmed. Looking at the image it's safe to say a Omaha Beach landing is a must. Medal Of Honour Frontlines beach landing on PS2 was brilliant back in the day. I just hope the developers remember that they are dealing with real humans that couldn't upgrade stats to get better and lets see some Brothers in Arms style play not just the usual run and gun. Can't wait.

The brilliant Horizon Zero Dawn has sold through nearly 2.6 Million units in just two weeks Sony has said. Horizon Zero Dawn has taken many gamers and critics by surprise with its lush vast open world and brilliant game play. I for one that was blown away. I'd just finished Uncharted 4 and bought Horizon after reading the reaction the game got. In fact I was going to wait for a price drop before buying. Never before have I been so shocked at how brilliant a game is. The last time I felt like this over a game was Grand Theft Auto Vice City on PS2. Is it because the developer is the creator of Killzone? Not that Killzone games are bad. I enjoy the Killzone games but I just didn't see this coming even after seeing it in action at E3. Well done Sony. My best game so far on PS4 and yes better than Uncharted and Bloodborne.

Now this looks epic. Days Of War is a first person shooter set in.............World War 2. Get in! I seriously can't wait for this. From what I've seen of the early access on PC it's ripped right out of Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers. Take a look at the footage below and get VERY excited. Update:Out now in the store. The beautiful looking How We Soar launches next week for Playstation VR. The game launches in the US on the 29th and a day later in the EU. How We Soar sees you controlling a huge Phoenix gliding through a stunning looking world. Be sure to read our review next week.

I have been reading a few websites and what they think of PS4 PRO and how it boosts PlayStation VR. (or doesn't) I strongly feel that some sites, no matter what, are intent on hating the PRO. I got the PRO on launch to go with my Sony 4K TV. Now as you may know, the Sony TV does a great job of up scaling the image to 4K with the built in K1 chip. So games looked great before. PRO boosts them with my TV to really nice prity graphics and text now really pops on games like Fallout 4. I'm not sure if Fallout has had 4K patches yet but on my TV it looks incredible. Back to VR. Games simply look much, much better. Take VR worlds. I've read people say they see a slight difference. Rubbish. I've not played that game for two weeks and as soon as it loaded the difference was huge. The stone floor in the game lobby area is now crisp and the Dual Shock 4 is crisp with no jaggies. I tried the shark cage as this was the first game I tried when I first got the VR. EVERYTHING i...

Just been prompted to download the mods patch for PS4.  Mods on PS4 were in doubt but a deal is done and you can now mod away. Patch 1.8 also has quite a few bug fixes etc.

According to sales data the PS4 Pro has boosted not only visuals up to 4K but has also boosted PS4 sales by 204%. Ironic as Pro boosts power by, yes X2. MVC have seen sales data that shows sales tripling from Thursday. We have the Pro and think the upgrade is well worth it even owning the old launch PS4. I've noticed every game looks better on my 4K Bravia.
