Sony have announced that to play games online on the PS4 you will need a PS+ subscription. This costs £40 a year and is normally on sale multiple times a year, current subscribers will have their subscription carry over to the PS4.

Playstation Plus is coming to the PS4 at no extra cost to current subscribers and prices also remain the same for new subscribers. Drive Club will be the first PS4 game in the instant collection.

PS4 will have no limitations on used games like the Xbox One. You also don't need to connect to the Sony servers once every 24 hours. This got a standing ovation from the crowd.
