Crytek have announced Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age for PC and undisclosed consoles. The game is a pure 4 player co-op adventure set in the 1800's where players hunt down mythical creatures. The content generation system automatically generates new monsters and maps every time you play so you'll never repeat the same adventure. They had this to say about the game: "As the surprises come thick and fast, the terror of knowing that one of the game's grueling boss battles could be just around the corner will keep everyone's pulses pounding, defeating bosses will require close collaboration between hunters as they attempt to figure out and take down some truly terrifying monsters."

Update;Tidux of Playstation4 leaks fame has tweeted that the last of us is done and when questioned when it will come out he replied, "June". So we are sticking with this story until after E3. Have game made a huge misstake or let slip a big secret?  Unlucky for some? Game tweeted today that the HD re-make was coming to PS4 during E3. They posted a very official trade-in deal form. They have now climbed down and deleted the said tweets. Now eaither the UK's biggest retailer has got it very wrong, I doubt it, or Sony have wrapped Games knuckles. We'll see soon enough on the 10th.

Sony Santa Monica has indicated it plans on lifting the lid on the next chapter in the multi-million selling God of War franchise at E3 next week. Writing on its official Twitter page , the studio said, “The Gods have spoken once again, maybe they are just excited for #E3 #earthquake #LA." Tune in for live updates from E3 as we get them.

Tanks a million Gaijin! PS4 player at last get Tanks added to the excellent War Thunder on June 5th, one day before D-Day in case you need reminding. Ground forces is brilliant, we played the PC version a few weeks ago when we exclusively revealed that Tanks would come to PS4 "soon". "Today we’re proud to announce that Ground Forces expansion is finally coming out in Europe on PS4 on 5th June. But it’s not about armored vehicles only – all of the other features found in the latest 1.41 version of the game are included as well: 350 different planes, squadron battles, more than 150 multiplayer missions and many other improvements."

The wait is finally over for US PlayStation 4 owners. War Thunder will hit the US on June 3rd and what's more..............Tanks are here. That's right, Ground Forces will be packed in when you download it all in 1080p. This from Gaijin; War Thunder for PS4 runs in "majestic 1080p" and includes the recently released Ground Forces expansion. Cross-platform play between PS4 and PC will be introduced in the very near future.  War Thunder features 350 different planes, 150 multiplayer missions, as well as a single-player campaign and squadron battles. War Thunder is a free to play game with NO pay walls.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare launches on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on 22nd August 2014, developer PopCap Games has announced. The developer confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version outputs at 1080p resolution and runs at 60 frames per second. Garden Warfare on PlayStation includes the two DLC expansions Garden Variety and Zomboss Down. "We're especially excited for fans to experience Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare on PS4, where it will be playable at a native 1080p resolution and blazing fast 60 frames per second," PopCap's Gary Clay said. The PS4 version is playable via Remote Play on the Vita, PopCap confirmed, and includes split screen co-op. The Boss Mode feature is playable as a companion experience on mobile devices via the PlayStation App.

I remember an old forum chap saying in our shout-box, "hey lads, has anyone seen Watch Dogs?" It was blueroom. He put a link to the very first E3 leaked footage that was shown by Ubisoft a couple of years back. I looked at it and thought Wow! I knew that it had to be next gen and sure enough it was. Watch Dogs has been on our radar for some time. Myself and AK saw a behind closed doors showing of the game running on the PS4 last year. A controlled demo showing off the compound-taking section, very much like the ideas seen in Far Cry 3. We were impressed. Now the game is here and reviews have hit the net the same day. Ubi made sites hold back reviews until day one; this is not a first as many now do this. For some reason the usual suspects start ranting on forums about cancelling pre-orders etc. Why? Junes Playstation Plus Content for Europe has been announced: PS3 Lone Survivor NBA 2K 14 PS4 Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate Trine 2 Vita Dragon’s Crown Surge Deluxe Dragons Crown is a fantastic Vita game! Trine 2 added for Playstation 4. I played the demo and it's stunning to look at. Co-op online play too.

Deep Silver have posted two videos with the first showing the PS4 front end followed by a little gameplay. The second shows the games frame rate at 60fps with the PS4 controller mapping. I didn't get to play these games so for me they are a must buy. Can't wait. Take a look here.

Randy Pitchford has confirmed via Twitter that the PS3 version will get the patch on Tuesday 20th May. The PS Vita version is ready to go but Sony have yet to patch the PS3 game. The Vita version has had mixed reviews but the nay sayers have had backlash via Youtube by many fans venting anger at such low scores. In fact I personally think it looks great. Seasoned PC players have even took to Youtube after buying the Vita slim just for this game and vented frustration at low scores stating that the game is a 7/10 of anyones money. Myself and my son will be getting the game day one to play co-op. Can't wait. It's also worth pointing out that the US PS Store has 750 ratings for Vita Borderlands and it is the first game on any platform that I've seen have 5 stars from what appears to be every rating.
