Randy Pitchford has confirmed via Twitter that the PS3 version will get the patch on Tuesday 20th May. The PS Vita version is ready to go but Sony have yet to patch the PS3 game. The Vita version has had mixed reviews but the nay sayers have had backlash via Youtube by many fans venting anger at such low scores. In fact I personally think it looks great. Seasoned PC players have even took to Youtube after buying the Vita slim just for this game and vented frustration at low scores stating that the game is a 7/10 of anyones money. Myself and my son will be getting the game day one to play co-op. Can't wait. It's also worth pointing out that the US PS Store has 750 ratings for Vita Borderlands and it is the first game on any platform that I've seen have 5 stars from what appears to be every rating.

Sonys E3 conference will be taking place on Monday June 10th at 2am BST for UK viewers, hopefully it will be worth staying up late for.

PlayStation 4 is hammering the XBone on it's home turf. In March Titanfall couldn't boost sales enough to surpass the unstoppable PS4. MLB14 The Show looks incredible on PS4 and will surely boost sales further this month. Hardware sales for 4 weeks in April were 579,840 with XBone trailing behind at just 335,101. That's a tanking and the gulf has grown from last month. Infamous Second Son was the top seller for 3 out of the 4 weeks. New games are coming fast now via PSN and on the shelves. Bound By Flames the Next game that's getting the PS4 love over the XBone. Rumour overload is that Sony will be showing off Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 with news that the game will be available immediately after the show. If true this will be a massive blow to Microsoft. The Last Of Us 2 is a game that's in the works and I'm 99% sure Sony will show it off at the show. There has to be good reason to bring the first game to the PS4 just days after the conference. ? On Thursday the daddy of fast paced first person shooting is going to be making a well overdue comeback. Epic VP Mark Rein tweeted that the shooter is making a comeback. Mark Rein said of the Playstation 4, "its a perfect gaming PC". It's also no secret that Mark is a huge Playstation fan. We chatted to him way back when PS2 was shown at ECTS in London. He sat with one PS2 excitedly showing off the excellent game on the new console. His love for his work has fixed firmly in my mind from that day. Unreal enjoyed an exclusive time period on the PS3 with Unreal 3. That game was fast paced and great fun but had lost some of its groundbreaking fast gameplay due to larger maps. The Assault game mode was also missing and it what was my favourite mode. SCE have registered "Guns Up!". This maybe nothing. Sony have announced via Twitter that firmware 1.7 will come to PS4 on April 30th Heads-up: PS4 firmware update 1.70, inc. SHAREfactory and HDCP Off, goes live on 30th April. More soon! — PlayStation Europe (@PlayStationEU) April 25, 2014 The update will add a new video editor, export video clips and screen shots to a USB drive, turn HDCP off allowing video footage to be captured directly from the HDMI out port and finally the ability to pre download PS4 games so they can be played immediately on release day.

Playstation 4 has now sold over 7 Million units, that's sold . It's hard to work out but some Internet claims are that the XBone has sold under 4 Million. Price has nothing to do with it as MS have slashed the price and include a free game to match the PS4 price and in fact with it including the camera it's arguably better value. Many UK retailers have gone further to slash the price as consoles were piling up. So why is it piling up on retail shelves? For me it's fast become the child in the corner that other kids poke fun at.
